The New Series PERCEPT: Perceive.Control.Create.

TOKYO — Yonex is proud to announce the launch of PERCEPT, a new tennis racquet series for intermediate and advanced players. The racquet is developed to seamlessly act as an extension of the arm, effectively transmitting accurate ball information, which results in greater control. This enhanced feel and control is designed with the hope that it will support players in expressing their own unique and creative playing style on court. PERCEPT is set to be available worldwide on August 25, 2023.


The all-new PERCEPT racquet series caters to the demands of the world’s top tennis athletes who seek precise ball and trajectory control. Implemented with world-class innovations, the racquet features Yonex’s signature ISOMETRIC™ technology, creating a 7% larger sweet spot, which offers greater control without compromising power.


Additionally, the new SERVO FILTER(*1) technology effectively reduces unwanted vibrations while providing accurate sensory feedback from the ball. The FLEXCON system in the racquet shaft extends the ball-pocketing duration, making it easier for players to place the ball accurately on court. By adding more graphite layers into the frame, the racquet’s rigidity is significantly enhanced, leading to a notable improvement in overall racquet face stability.


The frame itself features a fresh olive-green base color, complemented with accented pink designs, symbolizing a calm focus with sparks of energy.


The new PERCEPT racquet is set to be used by several top athletes, including World No.10(*2) Frances Tiafoe (USA), three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka (SUI), and three-time WTA tour champion Dayana Yastremska (UKR).


Players can “Perceive, Control, Create” with PERCEPT by enhancing their ability to feel the ball, improving their control, and create their own distinct game on the court.

A signature Yonex technology that achieves a larger sweet spot.

By making the vertical and horizontal strings to the same length as much as possible, a square-shaped ISOMETRIC™ racquet generates a 7% larger sweet spot compared to a conventional round frame (*) and delivers greater control without sacrificing power.

This technology has been loved by some of the world’s top players for over 40 years, helping them win numerous titles over the years, and continues to evolve even today.



A film material that achieves accurate sensory information through two key characteristics: reducing unwanted vibration and enabling higher flexibility.


Developed by Mitsubishi Chemical Group, SERVO FILTER is a transparent film placed between graphite utilizing its high elasticity and bonding properties. The film does not harden in heat during the molding process; it retains its flexibility and reduces unwanted vibration by 14%.


FLEXCON SYSTEMYonex’s original structure that achieves higher flexibility and control, as well as improved ball-pocketing.

The system consists of three key components: a tapered and elongated box frame shaft, 2G-Namd™ Flex Force, and a newly added material called the SERVO FILTER. Each of these components plays a role in helping the racquet flex and extend the duration of ball pocketing upon impact by about 10%.



A new frame design for PERCEPT to improve stable ball trajectory.

The entire frame for the PERCEPT racquet has more layers of graphite to increase rigidity. The new structure enhances racquet face stability by 3%, which enables players to have better ball control.



The following are the ball performance test results of PERCEPT when compared with the previous tennis racquet models (100% being the standard level of the VCORE PRO racquet).

The test was conducted by Yonex using a swing machine.
